Job DescriptionRole OverviewThe Wetland Restoration Strategist plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing adaptive evidence-based ecological conservation strategies and projects. This position ensures scientific advice is credible, rigorous, and fit for purpose, driving the strategic direction of restoration and conservation efforts.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and lead funding proposals for environmental projects in partnership with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with universities, state government agencies, First Nations groups, and the broader community to deliver effective conservation outcomes.
- Lead the development of ecological conservation strategies, focusing on wetland restoration.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A strong background in ecology, conservation biology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing environmental projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Able to work effectively in a team environment.
