About the Role

Laser World Technologies is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join their team at Gepps Cross. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or a desire to establish a career with the Laser World team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines, undertaking QA checks, de-tagging and de-burring finished products, labeling and storing finished products, and operating a forklift to load, unload, and store materials.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity working day shift (6am - 2:06pm), Monday to Friday, with overtime hours as required by the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate laser cutting machines
  • Undertake QA checks
  • De-tag and de-bur finished product as required
  • Label and store finished products and pack as required
  • Operate a forklift to load, unload store materials
  • Perform manual loading and unloading of suitable materials
  • Adhere to critical safety rules and contribute to a safe working environment

About You

We are looking for a motivated individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Forklift and driver's license essential
  • Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Able to work at pace within a team or at times individually
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Willingness to participate in training
