Job Description

Lead the development and delivery of a cutting-edge enterprise-wide data platform to support analytical and operational needs.

This role combines strategic leadership with technical expertise to drive improvements in data analytics platform architecture and tooling, ingestion frameworks, transformation pipelines, and data governance frameworks.

You will be responsible for establishing, scaling, leading, and managing a team of data specialists, including data engineers, data platform administrators, and data architects, to support data platform development and operations.

Key responsibilities include reviewing the current state of the organization's Microsoft Azure cloud-based data analytics platform, identifying gaps and opportunities for uplift, and informing a roadmap to grow data capability in line with the organization's Data Strategy.

Requirements
  • Establish, scale, lead, and manage a team of data specialists
  • Review current state of data analytics platform and identify gaps and opportunities for uplift
  • Evaluate and uplift technical documentation on data analytics platform design and operations
  • Optimize data analytics platform architecture and operations
  • Implement observability frameworks to detect and resolve data issues
  • Partner with stakeholders to deliver a fit-for-purpose enterprise-wide data analytics platform infrastructure
