About the Role:
  • This role will lead the development of our cloud-based data platform, leveraging innovative tools and services to enable data processing and access requirements.
  • You will oversee the design and implementation of large-scale data platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leverage expertise in object-oriented languages, databases, and data processing tools to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and manage data pipelines, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
  • Collaborate with engineers to implement data lakes, warehouses, and streaming services, such as Kafka.
  • Promote a DevSecOps mindset within your team, supported by world-class tools.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop targeted solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in leading data engineering teams, with a strong background in data architecture and platform engineering.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing data platforms on AWS services (EMR, Redshift, Glue, Athena).
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies and work tracking tools like JIRA.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation through AI-powered engineering, transforming complex challenges into intelligent, scalable solutions.
