We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Katoomba and Lower Blue Mountains region.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical level of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
- Offer support and advice on adaptations to the environment, including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommend provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
