About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead our respiratory clinical trials unit as a Senior Trials Operations Lead. This dynamic role combines operations, research, and healthcare, providing a unique opportunity to bring your leadership, strategic thinking, and clinical research knowledge together in a meaningful way.

  • This is a pivotal position within the trials management team, where you will oversee operational functions, ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of clinical trials.
  • You will be responsible for guiding the recruitment, development, and appraisal of staff, overseeing staff training programs, including GCP certifications, and facilitating ongoing professional development.
  • Your expertise will help foster effective communication across the unit, complete business reports, and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation in respiratory health research.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee operational functions and ensure the smooth execution of clinical trials.
  • Guide the recruitment, development, and appraisal of staff.
  • Oversee staff training programs, including GCP certifications.
  • Foster effective communication across the unit.
  • Complete business reports and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.
About You:

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Degree-qualified in Business Administration or Management, Accounting, Health Science/Administration, or related discipline.
  • 3+ years working in clinical trials.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and strategic planning.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and IT skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Sound knowledge of clinical research practices, health policies, and international/local research guidelines.
