A unique opportunity exists for a skilled mid-level insurance lawyer to join a leading health law practice in Australia, working closely with industry experts on complex and technically engaging matters, developing advocacy skills and specialist expertise.

Main Responsibilities
  • Represent major insurers and healthcare professionals in claims across the healthcare and allied health sectors.
  • Handle professional negligence claims, regulatory investigations, litigated proceedings, and coronial inquests.
  • Prepare defences in complex medical negligence claims and advise hospital clients on clinical governance issues.
  • Participate in inquests and contribute to client service within a collaborative team.
