Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement electrical design strategies that align with our company's goals and objectives.
  2. Lead a team of electrical engineers to deliver electrical designs and solutions that meet project requirements.
  3. Ensure that electrical designs are compliant with relevant industry codes and standards.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that electrical designs are integrated with other systems and components.
  5. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, drawings, and reports.
  6. Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  7. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical engineering.
Requirements:

Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (recognised by IEAust)

10+ years' experience in the mining/mineral processing or oil and gas sector.

Thorough knowledge and practical application of relevant industry codes of practice.

Ability to rapidly understand and assimilate project and client specific requirements.

Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices.

Advanced experience with development of technical engineering documents, drawings, schedules, and models.

Innovative and flexible approach to problem solving, an ability to analyse and resolve complex issues.

Site experience during construction and commissioning preferred.

Proven ability to manage a team of design professionals.
