About the Position

We are currently seeking a skilled laundry professional to join our team at an aged care residential home.

This role involves working in a dynamic environment where residents with dementia and complex care needs receive specialized care.

The ideal candidate must be comfortable interacting with residents and have a strong ability to work effectively in this setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect, launder, process and deliver clean linen to internal and external customers in a timely manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with managers and staff to ensure seamless completion of laundry-related tasks.
  • Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and implement relevant policies and procedures related to the role.
About You

We are looking for someone who has:

  • A Light Rigid OR Medium Rigid Licence is highly preferred.
  • Prior experience working in an Aged Care facility is a significant advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a cohesive team.
  • Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling, infection control and standard precautions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
