Electrical Applications Specialist Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile renewable energy projects across Australia, contributing to cutting edge electrical balance of system (EBOS) technologies that enhance cost efficiency, reliability, and deployment speed.

As the key technical resource for project deployment across utility-scale and mining solar and energy storage projects, you will be responsible for providing expert technical consultation, designing system layouts and bill of materials based on project specifications, supporting sales teams with technical proposals, ensuring compliance with Australian electrical codes and standards, recommending prefabricated solutions, maintaining product knowledge, and facilitating customer feedback to product development teams.

  • Deliver technical expertise to developers, EPCs, utilities, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop system designs and BOMs tailored to meet client requirements.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling technical proposals and solution offerings.
  • Maintain adherence to Australian electrical regulations and industry standards.
  • Recommend optimized prefabricated solutions to streamline project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with product developments and support integration efforts.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and product development teams to drive innovation.
Requirements

A degree in electrical engineering or related field is required. 5+ years of experience in solar or energy storage applications engineering are necessary. Familiarity with EBOS components and design principles is expected. Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential, as well as strong project management and multitasking abilities.
