Senior Quality Assurance Lead

Are you a visionary leader with a passion for quality and excellence? We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead our QA team in Geelong, AU.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of quality standards and practices, excellent leadership skills, and experience in managing quality teams. This is a key position within our organization, responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, mentor and provide ongoing development to the QA team.
- Direct and train production staff regarding quality and compliance matters.
- Ensure quality control procedures are achieved.
- Develop and verify plant hygiene manual and sanitation standard operating procedures.
- Establish and build relationships with suppliers & customers.
- Tertiary qualifications in quality, food science or similar.
- Substantial experience as a Quality Assurance Manager, preferably within a high care food manufacturing environment.
- Excellent understanding of HACCP systems and ISO standards.
- S sound knowledge of all food laws and regulations including audit level experience of HACCP and BRC or other Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
- Experience in managing a Quality team in a FMCG, short or medium shelf-life environment.
