Senior Ventilation Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mine/Tunnel Ventilation Engineer to lead our ventilation team for an upcoming construction project in Regional New South Wales.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience as a Ventilation Engineer, with at least 3-4 years in Australia, and hands-on involvement in tunnelling or mining projects.

Main responsibilities include designing, optimizing, and monitoring underground ventilation systems for tunnels and caverns, ensuring compliance with Australian mining, tunnelling, and H&S regulations.

Additionally, the engineer will perform airflow simulations, thermal load assessments, and troubleshoot ventilation and air quality issues across multiple project sites.

They will also provide hands-on technical assistance during excavation, installation, and commissioning, ensuring safety, efficiency, and environmental compliance.

The successful candidate will possess leadership and collaboration skills, with demonstrated ability to lead small teams and coordinate with multidisciplinary groups.

Proficiency with ventilation simulation and thermal analysis software is essential, as well as preparation of technical reports and familiarity with WHS standards.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Mining, or Environmental Engineering, and possess valid Australian driver's licence and unrestricted work rights in Australia.
