About the Role:

As an Inventory Coordinator at dnata catering, you will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient acceptance of inbound goods and stores destined for use in the catering area. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your warehousing career and be part of a close-knit and dedicated team committed to safety.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure goods required by the catering team are available on time and in the required quantities.
  • Verify delivered items are packed to acceptable hygiene and other specifications.
  • Maintain the availability of goods and rotation where necessary.
  • Effectively manage stock in the store to ensure space is available for incoming goods as required.
  • Adhere to company policies related to HACCP, QSAI, and WHS in accordance with Federal and State Government Regulations.
  • Ensure all perishable items delivered are color coded stamped and stamped with acceptance date.
  • Anticipate potential problems and take appropriate actions to eliminate or manage their impact.
  • Maintain relationships based on clear KPI's supported by effective review mechanisms driving ongoing process and operational improvement.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current Forklift license (high reach preferred).
  • Have experience using manual and automated pallet jacks.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of basic HACCP/Food Safety and QSAI requirements.
  • Exhibit a basic understanding of Halal policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of WHS.
  • Show good knowledge of Storehouse and procedures.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office skills.
  • Display excellent organizational skills.
  • possess excellent product knowledge.
  • Avoidability to work 38 hours/week as this role is a full-time permanent position.
