Job Profile

The role of Junior Category Manager is pivotal in driving sourcing strategies that create value and ensure supply certainty.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand category needs, analyze procurement spend, assess markets, and drive supply chain improvements.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes including RFX, contract negotiation, performance management, and supplier governance.
  • Manage supplier relationships across the lifecycle focusing on performance, compliance, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor category performance through reporting, KPI tracking, and ongoing identification of value opportunities and supply chain risks.
Key Skills
  • 3-5 years experience in procurement preferably within a complex environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills particularly in blue-collar settings with proven ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • A proven track record of delivering sourcing solutions that drive cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills; experience with data visualization tools is an asset.
