The Billing Support Officer is a key member of the Statewide Clinical Support Services (SCSS) team, responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of medical imaging billing services. This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide billing support services for medical imaging sites, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and claiming functions.
- Collaborate with the Team Leader, Billing and Receipting, to develop and implement standardized practices for billing services.
- Support the Coordinator, Billing Service, in the development and management of billing services, utilizing knowledge and experience of medical imaging billing.
- Contribute to the improvement of billing processes and procedures, identifying areas for optimization and implementing changes as needed.
