Job Opportunity: Senior Medical Officer

The Senior Medical Officer position is a vital role within our organization, providing high-quality medical services to patients in rural and remote areas. This individual will be responsible for delivering primary and secondary medical care, with a strong focus on patient safety and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Delivering high-quality medical services to patients in rural and remote areas.
  • Providing clinical leadership and support to other medical officers and healthcare professionals.
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required.

What We Offer:

  • A total remuneration package of up to $459,097 per annum.
  • Salary ranges from $182,106 to $251,527 per annum.
  • 12.75% employer superannuation contribution.
  • 17.5% leave loading.

Requirements:

  • MBBS or equivalent qualification eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
  • FACRRM or FRACGP or evidence of significant progress as an ACRRM or RACGP is highly regarded.
  • Advanced skills in obstetrics, anaesthetics, surgery, internal medicine, emergency medicine, and paediatrics will be favourably considered.
