About the Role


We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Diploma qualified educator to join our team at KU Kira Children’s Centre. As a key member of our educational team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, promoting inclusion, equity, and sustainability.



Key Responsibilities




  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that meet the diverse needs of children and families.




  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to ensure a sense of belonging and community.




  • Contribute to a safe and healthy environment that promotes children’s physical, emotional, and social well-being.




  • Participate in ongoing professional learning and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.




  • Work collaboratively with the team to achievecentre goals and objectives.





Requirements




  • Australian working rights




  • A current NSW Working with Children Check




  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma qualification




  • First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates




  • Completed Child Protection Training and demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices




  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)




  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
