About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at SDN Children's Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care to children and supporting the implementation of an approved learning framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a quality early learning program for children enrolled in the Centre, ensuring individual children's strengths, interests, and needs are identified and their learning is enhanced.
  • Monitor and document children's development and progress through a diverse range of methods that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework and ensure that the service maintains operating standards as outlined in the National Quality Standards.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that promotes children's physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Requirements
  • Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
  • Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
  • Knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable)
