Our organization is seeking a skilled Procurement Business Partner to lead procurement activities and drive value-driven supply solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Procurement Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive procurement plans that meet stakeholder needs and service objectives.
- Tendering and Quotations: Lead tendering processes, requests for quotes, and panel access while ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
- Procurement Expertise: Provide expert advice, training, and support to internal teams on procurement procedures, risk management, and best practices.
- Policy and System Updates: Monitor and update procurement policies and systems to reflect industry standards and regulatory changes.
- Innovative Solutions: Collaborate with stakeholders to design innovative supply solutions that deliver value for money and support service delivery.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in procurement, business, law, commerce, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years' experience in a procurement role within a government environment.
- Tender Management: Proven ability to manage tender and quotation processes from preparation through to administration.
- Legislative Knowledge: Strong understanding of procurement legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Risk Management: Experience in contract administration and supplier performance monitoring, with sound risk management skills.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports, deliver training, and engage effectively with stakeholders.
