About the Role

The Medical Registrar will work within the Rehabilitation Service at Braeside Hospital, providing medical clinical care under the supervision of the Specialist-in-charge. This is a fixed-term, full-time or part-time contract, with two possible start dates: now until February 2025, or from February 2025 to August 2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team to provide patient care
  • Maintain a high standard of personal professionalism at all times
  • Develop a personal learning program in conjunction with the Specialist Supervisor
Requirements
  • Commitment to HammondCare's Christian Mission and Motivation
  • Medical Registration with the Medical Board of Australia
  • Primary Medical degree and a minimum of two years supervised practice as an RMO
  • Competence in the individual specialty area, consistent with the level of training and professional development stage
  • Strong administrative and computer skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Empathy and patience
