Senior Tailings Management Specialist

We are seeking a highly experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead our team in Brisbane, Australia.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing innovative and challenging projects, including Tailings Storage Facilities and Water Storage Facilities.
- Civil/Geotechnical/Tailings dam design;
- Geotechnical analyses using various software packages;
- Understanding of tailing deposition modelling;
- Geotechnical and environmental site characterisation;
- Development and management of instrumentation monitoring systems;
- Project/task management and proposal preparation support;
- Preparation of engineering reports, design calculations, drawings, technical specifications;
- Client development.
To be considered, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field.
- An Advanced degree in civil or geotechnical engineering or a related field.
- Professional registration.
- Engineer of Record (EoR).
In addition, it is desirable that you have:
- At least 8 years of directly relevant experience in a consulting environment.
- Knowledge of relevant geotechnical engineering software.
- Knowledge of numerical modeling tools.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
