Our ideal candidate will have:
- An interest in gaining or already have 2+ years experience in aged care or disability
- A genuine passion for care work and strong communication and listening skills
- Adaptable, organized, and detail-oriented approach to work
- A positive attitude and friendly demeanor
- Availability to commit to at least 20 hours per week
- National Police Clearance (less than 6 months old) or current NDIS worker screening check
- Current First Aid, Manual Handling, and Hand Hygiene certificates highly regarded
- Certificate of Completion for NDIS Worker Orientation Module preferred for NDIS support worker roles
- Current Driver's License and a roadworthy vehicle registered and insured
- Completed online Department of Health COVID-19 infection control training
- Previous employment in disability or aged care support work preferred
- Certificate III (or higher) in a related community care field or current healthcare qualifications
