Regional Director for Asia Pacific

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead and direct Mission Aviation Fellowship operations as Regional Director for the Asia Pacific region.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong leader with a passion for serving others and spreading the Gospel through aviation.

  • Develop and implement effective long-term strategies and short-term objectives in alignment with MAF's overall mission and priorities.
  • Lead and mentor Country Directors to facilitate effective programme performance.
  • Oversee staff training and development, ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, including HR, financial management, risk mitigation, and regulatory policies.
Key Qualifications and Skills
  • Aptitude in verbal, numerical, and abstract reasoning.
  • Ability to work within a values-driven framework, particularly when resolving conflicting priorities.
  • Extensive leadership and general management experience at a senior level within a charity/NGO context.
  • Strong strategic planning and organisational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building abilities.
  • Commitment to evangelical Christian beliefs and values.
  • Familiarity with the Asia Pacific region and its cultural dynamics.
  • Experience working effectively in a cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment.
