Job Title: Communication Field Technicians

We are seeking skilled and experienced technicians to join our team as a key member of the construction process. As a Communication Field Technician, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality services to our clients across various sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys, pit remediation, and other tasks related to telecommunications infrastructure
  • Install, splice, maintain, and terminate Fibre Optic cable and devices
  • Work closely with the Construction Manager and other team members to achieve project goals
  • Provide training and support to junior staff members
  • Participate in quality control and assurance processes

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in Communications (Certificate III or equivalent)
  • At least 2 years' experience in telecommunications
  • Relevant accreditations and certifications
  • OH&S Construction Industry White Card
  • Valid Driver's Licence - 'C' Class
  • Team-oriented and able to work collaboratively

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Traffic Control/Management
  • Optical Fibre Accreditation
  • ACMA registration
  • Telecommunications accreditations
