Job Title: Junior Mechanical Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Mechanical Field Service Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for a mechanical engineer or fitter looking to develop their skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

As a Junior Mechanical Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor to ensure safety, compliance, and quality. You will oversee the installation, overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of rotating equipment's and products at customer sites.

You will also prepare and update technical documentation, plans, daily and weekly briefing reports for customers and internal cross-functional teams. In addition, you will ensure internal training, compliance, and quality documentation is updated, followed, and completed according to company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing technical direction for activities to internal teams and skilled labor
  • Overseeing the installation, overhaul, troubleshooting, and commissioning of rotating equipment's and products
  • Preparing and updating technical documentation, plans, and reports
  • Ensuring internal training, compliance, and quality documentation is up-to-date

Requirements:

  • 0-2 years of experience in a mechanical role in an energy or oil and gas environment (or similar)
  • Mechanical Technical degree or Engineering degree
  • Basic knowledge of the installation and maintenance of rotating equipment
  • Strong customer service-orientation mindset
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding
  • Excellent verbal and written English
