Category Management Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to join our Merchandise Team.

About the Role

The Category Management Specialist will be responsible for liaising with suppliers, ensuring compliance with trading terms, and providing actionable insights on product and category performance.

  1. Liaise with suppliers to build strong relationships and resolve any issues.
  2. Ensure supplier compliance with trading terms, obligations, and merchandising requirements.
  3. Support the Merchandise Manager in sourcing and evaluating new product ranges.
  4. Monitor and analyse product and category performance against targets.
  5. Implement and ensure compliance of supplier-produced planograms across the retail network.
  6. Provide coaching and support to store managers and their teams on merchandising techniques and compliance standards.
  7. Coordinate and manage internal promotional programs.
Requirements
  • Year 12 completion or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of retail management experience or similar roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
