Job Description:

This role is flexible and could be based out of either our Horsham, Stawell or Ballarat branches.

We are growing and looking for someone to manage an established portfolio and generate new business to achieve growth targets.

You will be responsible for protecting, maintaining and growing relationships with clients and providing exceptional service.

As a people person, you will enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work autonomously.

The ideal candidate will have amazing organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail and sound general insurance technical ability.

Tier 1 broking qualification is mandatory.

Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing a portfolio of Rural, Agri, SME and Commercial clients
  • Identifying new business opportunities and driving growth
  • Providing exceptional client service while building close working relationships
  • Negotiating with underwriting partners to achieve the best outcome for clients
  • Maintaining an active sales pipeline
  • Managing compliance obligations and stakeholder relationships
Requirements:
  • High performer with ability to demonstrate portfolio growth
  • Enjoy working as part of a team but also be able to work autonomously
  • Love that no two days are the same and that much of your time will be spent out with clients or prospective clients, and not in the office
  • Sales orientated with ability to build a sales pipeline to support new business growth
  • Amazing organisational and time management skills, with high attention to detail
  • Sound general insurance technical ability and problem solving skills
  • Tier 1 broking qualification is mandatory
