Job Description

This Lifestyle Enhancement Specialist position is a great opportunity to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our residents. You will work closely with our residents to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support their personal interests, abilities, and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement tailored lifestyle programs to meet the unique needs and preferences of residents.
  • Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and social engagement.
  • Encourage participation in recreational and leisure activities to promote overall well-being.
  • Monitor and document resident progress to ensure their needs are met.
  • Collaborate with the care team to provide holistic support to residents.
  • Foster a positive community atmosphere within the care facility.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification (desired).
  • Experience working with dementia and MSU.
  • Aged care or disability support experience highly desirable.
  • Strong passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
  • Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values.
