You will work closely with our residents to develop and implement individual lifestyle plans that support their personal interests, abilities, and goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement tailored lifestyle programs to meet the unique needs and preferences of residents.
- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, mobility, and social engagement.
- Encourage participation in recreational and leisure activities to promote overall well-being.
- Monitor and document resident progress to ensure their needs are met.
- Collaborate with the care team to provide holistic support to residents.
- Foster a positive community atmosphere within the care facility.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or equivalent qualification (desired).
- Experience working with dementia and MSU.
- Aged care or disability support experience highly desirable.
- Strong passion for working with older people and enhancing their quality of life.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Understanding of the importance of maintaining residents' dignity and independence.
- Alignment with Anglicare's Christian ethos and values.
