Key Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Officer: Grounds Maintenance Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Grounds keeping: Mowing, trimming, fertilizing lawns and turf areas, repairing and maintaining irrigation systems, weeding, planting, and fertilizing gardens, and maintaining grounds equipment.
- Maintenance: Assisting with minor building maintenance as directed, supporting contracts requiring access to school property or buildings, and carrying out minor repairs to school property and equipment.
- Events: Assisting with marking sporting fields and grounds, setting up and dismantling tents and equipment related to school functions.
- Safety: Assessing equipment to determine if minor repairs are required, assisting with the completion and documentation of workplace health and safety tasks as required by the principal.
What We Offer:
In this exciting opportunity, you will receive a competitive salary range of $36.66 - $37.87 per hour (Casual Rate) and $29.33 - $30.29 (Hourly Rate for Part-time or Full-time). You will also enjoy modern facilities and resources, superannuation of 12.75% contribution, access to long service leave after 7 years of continuous service, corporate health discounts with Bupa or Westfund Health Insurance, and excellent leave entitlements to suit various situations.
