Trading System Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to design and develop low-latency trading systems that drive business forward.

  • Designing high-performance low-level C++ / C# code for handling market data processes is a key responsibility.
  • The role involves conducting research projects related to scale and performance using open-source tools.
  • You will develop applications and services that receive and store trading activity, and create tools to improve system efficiency using performance data.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field from an Australian or New Zealand University with a distinction average WAM.
  • Strong software development skills in C++, C#, Python, or Java.
  • A solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and object-oriented design patterns.
  • Experience developing performance-sensitive code is highly valued.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify problems, evaluate them, and suggest solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with a team while working independently.
  • Flexible and driven with a commitment to innovation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
