Senior Building Design Specialist

We are seeking an Experienced Structural Engineer to fill a key position in our engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will lead the design and documentation of temporary works, develop construction methodologies, and undertake detailed analysis and structural design.
You will have a strong understanding of Australian standards and construction safety principles, as well as experience in developing practical, buildable solutions under site constraints. Our ideal candidate will be skilled in structural analysis software, able to produce clear, accurate documentation, and possess strong communication and coordination skills.
About the Role- Lead the design and documentation of temporary works including formwork, falsework, shoring, propping, crane bases, and access platforms
- Develop and advise on construction methodologies and sequencing plans in consultation with site teams and contractors
- Undertake detailed analysis and structural design to ensure safety, compliance, and constructability
- Assess the behaviour and performance of materials under construction-stage conditions
- Prepare and review concept, schematic, and detailed temporary works designs
