Job Description

BaptistCare seeks a Practice Excellence Leader to lead practice excellence across its community services, housing and aged care programs.

This is a national-based role with a requirement to travel as needed. The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams of senior practitioners and partner with leaders to drive best practice care at every level of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement national practice models aligned with trauma-informed and person-centred principles.
  • Develop practice tools and resources supporting consistent, high-quality frontline delivery.
  • Support innovation and continuous improvement in service models and practice delivery.
  • Build strong partnerships with operational leaders, governance teams, and external partners.
  • Oversee supervision frameworks and specialist consultation models across all programs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and quality standards.
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in social work, psychology, allied health, or related field.
  • Senior leadership experience in practice oversight within community, aged care, or housing sectors.
  • A proven track record developing evidence-informed practice models.
  • Strong capability leading multidisciplinary teams and implementing frameworks.
  • An understanding of legislative and regulatory environments across our service sectors.
