Environmental Scientists play a crucial role in helping organizations mitigate and manage environmental risks. In this position, you will work with our Contaminated Land team to deliver strategic solutions for clients dealing with complex environmental challenges.

The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science/Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology, and at least 5 years of experience in contaminated land projects. Strong knowledge of NEPM and contaminated land provisions within WA is essential. Excellent communication and report writing skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preliminary and detailed contaminated land assessments, site management plans, remediation action plans and other reports for external and internal clients.
  • Lead and supervise investigations, including soil, vapour, surface water, groundwater assessments and drilling programs.
  • Prepare cost-effective, tailored fee proposals.
  • Initiate, plan, lead and execute contaminated land and groundwater projects from start to finish.
  • Engage with clients and internal disciplinary teams to determine innovative and pragmatic solutions to complex environmental problems.
  • Analyse data and prepare clear and concise technical reports to a high standard.
  • Support the learning and progression of junior staff within the team.
