Job Overview

The position of Processing Manager is crucial in overseeing the safe, efficient, and cost-effective management of lithium processing operations. As an Australian leader in innovative and sustainable diversified mining solutions, we deliver high-quality products across multiple commodities.

This role requires a skilled professional to oversee site processing facilities operations, develop and maintain effective organizational structures and procedures, implement cost-effective processing procedures for optimum plant performance, manage, control, and supervise production teams, provide training, mentoring, and support to supervisors and production teams, assist with planning, preparation, and execution of processing activities, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements and relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Site Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of site processing facilities, maintaining efficiency, safety, and productivity.
  • Organizational Development: Develop and maintain effective organizational structures and procedures, aligning with business goals and objectives.
  • Process Optimization: Implement cost-effective processing procedures to achieve optimum plant performance, minimizing waste and maximizing output.
  • Team Management: Manage, control, and supervise production teams, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Training and Support: Provide training, mentoring, and support to supervisors and production teams, enhancing their skills and capabilities.
  • Activity Planning: Assist with planning, preparation, and execution of processing activities, ensuring timely completion and quality output.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and relevant standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of experience in crushing plant environments, including exposure to beneficiation and/or flotation processes.
  • Leadership experience in a similar environment, demonstrating your ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • A proven commitment to maintaining a safe work environment, prioritizing health and well-being.
  • Ability to efficiently plan and coordinate daily processing activities, achieving optimal results.
