Financial Accountant Job Description

This is a comprehensive role that involves working closely with senior management to provide advice and recommendations on revenue, investment, and expenses. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years' experience in managing financial systems and budgets, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Maintain and update financial models for improved data collection and reporting efficiency
  • Consolidate Group accounts in Pronto, including consolidation and elimination journal entries
  • Prepare daily and weekly cash reports, as well as monthly bank reconciliations for all Group bank accounts
  • Oversee budget and forecast activities, including continuous management and support
  • Manage taxation activities, ensuring compliance with laws and financial regulations, and handle Group BAS and Payroll Tax responsibilities, including regulatory audits

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in the management of financial systems and budgets
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • Practical experience in the use of MS products, particularly Excel and large ERP systems
