Financial Accountant Job Description

This role involves working closely with senior management to provide advice and recommendations on financial matters, including revenue, investment, and expenses.

  • Maintain and update financial models for improved data collection and reporting efficiency.
  • Consolidate Group accounts in Pronto, including consolidation and elimination journal entries.
  • Prepare daily and weekly cash reports, monthly bank reconciliations for all Group bank accounts.
  • Oversee budget and forecast activities, including continuous management and support.
  • Manage taxation activities, ensuring compliance with laws and financial regulations, and handle Group BAS and Payroll Tax responsibilities, including regulatory audits.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 4 years' experience in managing financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation, and providing financial advice.
  • Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is highly regarded.
  • A bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent is required.
  • Practical experience in the use of MS products, particularly Excel and large ERP systems.
