We are seeking an experienced Cluster Manager to lead our Tasmanian region and support our stores in Hobart, Devonport, Launceston, and Burnie. As a key member of the Brand Collective team, you will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the Black Pepper stores in their region, ensuring they meet business strategy goals.

Job Description

This role involves overseeing the daily operations of four stores, providing excellent customer service, managing visual merchandising, inventory control, and staff development. You will work closely with Store Managers, Area Managers, and other stakeholders to drive sales growth, engage customers, and maintain a positive store environment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage store performance, including sales, stock levels, and employee productivity
  • Develop and implement tactical plans to drive sales growth and improve customer experience
  • Lead a culture of continuous improvement and innovation, recommending strategies to enhance performance across sales, staff, stock, and systems
  • Manage employee performance, goal setting, and KPI targets, ensuring staff are aware, supported, and trained to deliver on team budgets and KPIs
  • Nurture the growth and development of direct reports, creating a talent pipeline within the retail network
  • Prepare monthly rosters, costed to achieve store budgets
  • Resolve escalated store or customer complaints promptly and professionally
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous Cluster Management experience in the retail space, preferably with a similar brand or region
  • A proven track record of delivering results, driving sales, and engaging teams, with expert knowledge of KPIs
  • Excellent people management skills, with a thorough understanding of performance management
  • The ability to analyse data, act efficiently, and make calculated business decisions
  • An interest in thinking 'outside the box' to improve and maintain a cutting-edge knowledge of the market
  • A passion for customers and the ability to organise and engage in internal and external eventing
  • Good active listening skills, providing an inclusive and supportive environment for the team and peers
  • The ability to think on your feet and move with a sense of urgency

Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
