Job Title: Medical Care Specialist

As a Medical Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering primary first aid services, administering medications according to medical plans, and maintaining accurate records. You will also ensure that student medical alerts are up-to-date and communicated effectively to staff.

About the Role:
  • Medical Support Services
    • Deliver primary first aid care to sick or injured students and staff
    • Administer medications according to medical plans and maintain accurate records
    • Ensure student medical alerts are up-to-date and communicated effectively to staff
  • Medical Records Management
    • Record all details of first aid attendances and parent communications on Compass Sickbay log
    • Enter and maintain injury report data in relevant systems
    • Maintain and update student, staff, and school records in school systems
    • Maintain an Accident/Incident Register on Edusafe Plus for students and advise on health and safety issues within the College environment
    • Develop and maintain registers for students with specific health needs
    • Ensure all records are accurate, confidential, and compliant with relevant policies
    • Support routine clerical and administrative tasks as needed
  • Medical Supplies and Facilities Management
    • Organise and manage first aid supplies and equipment
