About the Role

Public Sector People is partnering with a State Government Department to enhance community services, foster inclusive workplaces, and support the development of critical infrastructure across Queensland. As the Infrastructure Services Officer, you will provide expert operational and strategic advice on infrastructure, planning, and asset management. You will contribute to key projects and programs aimed at modernizing facilities and optimizing service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead high-level planning and implementation of infrastructure projects to modernize and optimize existing facilities.
  • Collaborate with teams to develop innovative solutions in infrastructure, planning, and asset management.
  • Prepare and present data for accurate and timely reporting on various departmental activities.
  • Manage operational issues to ensure project timelines and outcomes are achieved.
  • Provide secretariat support for governance activities, and prepare ministerial briefings, reports, and submissions.
  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support team operations.
  • Assist in developing and refining policies, guidelines, and procedures for infrastructure and project management activities.

The Successful Candidate

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in infrastructure or asset management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement. You will have a strong ability to think critically, lead change, and make ethical decisions. Key competencies include leadership, fostering inclusive workplaces, and driving accountability.
