The Monash Health Emergency Department Care Coordinator team is a well-integrated leadership team with an emphasis on positive culture and proactive management. This role offers opportunities for growth and development, with a focus on excellent patient-centred care and team development.
You will be part of the wider Monash Health Allied Health team, with access to all the benefits that offers: professional development, support, a well-networked team with broad and specialized clinical experience.
This role is supported by the Grade 4 ED Care Coordinator Team Leader and sees you work collaboratively with a fantastic group of people who are inclusive, passionate, and share a vision to provide excellent, evidence-based care for patients and their families.
A typical day in this role involves working flexibly across the full week, including weekends, to provide direct and remote support to our Casey, Clayton, and Dandenong Emergency Departments.
You will use your established skill set to enhance the journey for our patients and their families at some of their most vulnerable times.

- Trans-disciplinary clinical experience within the Emergency Department environment
- Advanced clinical reasoning skills with experience in providing clinical education and staff supervision

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
About You:
- A relevant Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work qualification
- Significant Emergency Department clinical experience
- Advanced discharge planning skills
- Leadership &/or service development experience
Estimated Salary Range: AU$60,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
