We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the position of Philanthropy Specialist in our Perth office. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on heart health and contribute to a dynamic team dedicated to reducing the impact of heart disease.

About the Role

This full-time, permanent role involves growing and managing high-value donor relationships across Western Australia. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing a WA-specific philanthropy strategy and business plan, re-engaging and deepening relationships with current and lapsed donors, and writing compelling cases for support and tailored funding proposals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing and growing a portfolio of major donors, trusts, and foundations
  • Developing a WA-specific philanthropy strategy and business plan

  • Writing compelling cases for support and tailored funding proposals
  • Identifying new prospects and creating a pipeline of long-term supporters
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience managing major donor or high-value client relationships
  • Confidence securing large philanthropic gifts (e.g. $50,000+)
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with a diverse donor base
  • Excellent communication and proposal writing skills
  • Strong planning and organisational skills with a strategic mindset
