As a member of our Finance team, you'll play a crucial role in financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee the month-end accounting process, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
  • Provide support to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as needed.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and monitor financial performance against plan.
  • Maintain the general ledger, regularly reconcile key balance sheet accounts, and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Assist with statutory reporting requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Support external audit processes by providing necessary information and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Utilize Power BI to create interactive dashboards and visual reports and maintain existing ones.
  • Offer ad-hoc assistance to the broader finance team as required.

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting or relevant discipline.
  • Hands-on experience with financial systems, preferably Xero, Power BI, and Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills for handling complex data.
  • Up-to-date knowledge on accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
