About the Opportunity
Join our team of professional cleaners as a Part Time cleaner at Melbourne Central Shopping Centre.
The roster for this position is:
- Monday: 3pm - 10pm
- Thursday: 5pm - 10pm
- Saturday: 4:30pm - 10pm
This role requires commercial or retail cleaning experience and a proactive attitude. On-the-job training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Be well-presented and able to work independently
- Prior commercial or retail cleaning experience is preferred
- Understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn)
- Cleaning Machinery experience (scrubbing, buffing, car park sweeper) is preferred
- Good knowledge of and commitment to safe working practices
- Physically fit to carry out standard duties and able to walk for lengthy periods
- Good listening skills and ability to follow instructions
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written English
- Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays
- Must have valid work rights in Australia
