Job Overview

The role of Compliance Assurance Manager involves overseeing the implementation and maintenance of assurance frameworks across various business units. This position is critical in ensuring that our operations align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive assurance programs to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to embed consistent assurance practices throughout the organization.
  • Conduct regular audits, maturity assessments, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to established protocols.
  • Analyze data and incidents to pinpoint areas for improvement and provide strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain accurate records of assurance-related plans, registers, and legislative updates.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with regulators and other key stakeholders.
  • Drive the development and integration of management systems across multiple domains, including Safety, Asset, Environment, and Quality.
About You
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in a relevant field or possess significant experience in senior assurance, compliance, or governance roles.
  • Have a proven track record of influencing organizational culture and driving assurance adoption.
  • Possess strong knowledge of international standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 31000, ISO 15288, ISO 55001).
  • Experience in developing and embedding assurance frameworks and management systems is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with rail infrastructure assurance and ONRSR regulatory requirements is advantageous.
  • Advanced data analysis and reporting skills are essential.
  • Able to build effective relationships, educate, and mentor others.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities are necessary for success in this role.
