Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Clinical / Forensic Psychologist to join our team in a Treatment and Rehabilitation Clinic.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting multi-disciplinary assessments, treatment / interventions, co-care coordination, and liaison with stakeholders. They will also work collaboratively with the NSW Fixated Threat Assessment Centre (FTAC) on a pilot program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with complex mental health needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care
Requirements
  • Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
  • Demonstrated experience working in forensic mental health practice
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Our Treatment and Rehabilitation Clinic provides evidence-based biopsychosocial treatment and rehabilitation services to support individuals in achieving recovery from complex disorders that result in problematic behaviors. We adopt a multi-disciplinary, collaborative model of care focused on recovery, rehabilitation, and community safety.

Our clinic is located in a brand new purpose-built facility in Surry Hills, just a short walk from Central or Museum station. Easy access is also provided via buses and light rail.
