Mental Health Triage Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Triage Clinician to join our team at SA Health. As a key member of our Mental Health Clinical Program, you will play a critical role in providing emergency mental health care to consumers and concerned family or community members.
Key Responsibilities- Provide initial assessment and service coordination for consumers with rapid throughput and linking with appropriate services.
- Monitor mental health activity and coordination across South Australia.
- Collaborate with SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) to receive and triage telephone referrals.
- Provide specialist advice to consumers, carers, and health professionals.
- Referral to community mental health teams or other mental health services.
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
