The Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN) Mental Health Clinical Program is a multidisciplinary team providing recovery-focussed clinical services to consumers. The team includes inpatient and sub-acute, community and rehabilitation teams in youth, adult and older persons' services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver Psychological services and expert consultancy regarding issues of psychological practice.
- Coordinate the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) program, including triage of referrals, clinical supervision and training of staff, group facilitation, and provision of intensive DBT to individual consumers as required.
- Apply specialised expertise to the development, delivery and continuous improvement of quality clinical work and provide discipline-specific assessments, interventions and consultancy services to the team.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, their families/carers and liaise closely with a network of government and non-government organisations to assist consumers whose severity of mental disorder and/or level of disability necessitates regular review and follow-up to facilitate improved functioning and community tenure.
- Provide professional supervision to designated staff and students.
- Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification recognised by the PsyBA and general registration with PsyBA and an endorsed area of practice in Clinical Psychology.
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description.
