Our school is seeking an exceptional Primary Teacher to join a dynamic and creative team. This role involves providing high-quality educational experiences for students in a supportive environment that reflects the values of our community.

  • The successful applicant will possess an exemplary understanding of best practice and demonstrate a deep commitment to student learning.
  • They will be responsible for implementing and upholding teaching and learning strategies that align with our school's pedagogical framework.
  • Apart from this, they will need to engage in further professional development as part of their continuous learning journey.
  • Supporting the priorities and pillars of our community, being 'Faith, Excellence and Respect', will also be expected from them.
  • Additionally, they must abide by and comply with Child Protection and WHS policies at all times.
  • The successful candidate must always conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Finally, they should be willing to contribute to the Christian Ethos of the School by participating in supporting its academic, pastoral and co-curricular life.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons to support student learning and achievement.
  • Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to parents/carers.
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Participate in school-wide initiatives and projects that promote student engagement and motivation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching practices.
Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Education.
  • Experience teaching Primary literacy and numeracy.
  • Classroom teacher familiar with NESA new syllabuses.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Digital literacy with regard to application in teaching and learning.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and engaging learning environment.
  • Implementation of planned activities and supply evidence of effective evaluation of teacher/learning activities.
  • Providing evidence of incorporating effective learning programs and suitable teaching aids and/or resources.
  • Experience in assessing and reporting on student progress and classroom management techniques.
