Senior Security Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Senior Security Engineer to join our team. As a senior member of the engineering squad, you will play a key role in protecting our digital edge from threats and vulnerabilities.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Sydney or Gold Coast, with flexible hybrid working arrangements. You'll work closely with our security specialists to identify vulnerabilities, tune defenses, and uplift our overall security posture.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Proficient in one or more programming languages including Swift, Kotlin, Java, C#, and TypeScript.
  • Experience working with edge security platforms like Cloudflare or Akamai.
  • Able to detect, assess, and remediate vulnerabilities in live environments.
  • Understanding of WAF/WAAP rules, threat analysis, and log monitoring.
  • Strong communication skills and passion for coaching developers.

You'll have the opportunity to work with cloud platforms Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure. Our ideal candidate has a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
