Secure System Specialist

The role of a Cybersecurity Expert involves ensuring the integrity, availability and confidentiality of systems and services. This is achieved through monitoring for security threats and investigating incidents.

A key responsibility of this position is leading and contributing to cybersecurity projects and programs.

Maintenance of existing security platforms and identification of areas for improvement are also critical tasks in this role.

Auditing against identity and access control policies to ensure compliance is another vital aspect of the job.

In addition, providing guidance on security matters to staff members is an important part of the Cybersecurity Expert's responsibilities.

Key Qualifications:
  • 2+ years experience in Information/Cyber Security.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field.
  • Experience in identifying and responding to cyber threats within SOC environments.
  • Knowledge of endpoint security, IAM, SIEM and email security platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with patch and vulnerability management.
  • Understanding of networking technologies.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and stay updated on emerging threats and technologies.
  • Team-oriented with strong customer service focus.
  • Self-motivated with ability to prioritize tasks under pressure.

  • Security certifications (Security+, CEH, CySA).
  • Programming/Scripting knowledge (Python, PowerShell).
  • Penetration testing experience against websites and services.
